Lucy is an experienced health psychologist who specialises in working with people with a range of health conditions and psychological issues. For over 20 years, Lucy has enjoyed working with clients to create better functioning and a richer way of life. She is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and narrative and mindfulness techniques.
Lucy’s areas of interest and experience are working with stress, anxiety and mood disorders, neurodiversity including ADHD and autism, health issues such as cancer, diabetes and cardiology.
Lucy graduated with a Master of Science (Hons) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Psychology from The University of Auckland. She has worked extensively in the health sector including The Cancer Society, Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand), Canopy Cancer Care and Canteen Aotearoa as well as Anxiety New Zealand and many years in private practice.
