Dr Zelda Strydom

Dr Zelda Strydom is experienced in addictions and psychiatry. She has worked in a variety of mental health and addiction services for the last 20 years both in the UK and NZ. She has held leadership positions at community drug and alcohol services in New Zealand and is available to provide assessment and develop treatment plans for adults with a range of addiction disorders including alcohol, prescription pills like benzodiazepines and more.

Zelda works as a medical officer in community mental health services here in Auckland and is also available for assessment and treatment of individuals with mood and anxiety disorders at Brown str. She has developed a special interest in insomnia, and has trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the gold standard treatment for insomnia.
